Wedding Photography Pose List
When taking the pictures that will one day be in your wedding album, it is important to be sure that all of the important poses are included. Having a wedding photography pose list from which your photographer can work is helpful in ensuring that no poses are forgotten.
While an experienced photographer should have his own wedding pose list, if a pose is left out it will be your wedding album that suffers. Take the responsibility by making a list of your own and going over the poses that you want with your photographer.
This is especially important if you are using a friend, family member or a fairly new photographer. These might not know which poses and people should be included and are more likely to need some guidance.
Here is a sample wedding photography pose list. You can use this list and customize it to meet your specific needs. This is not an all-inclusive list. Instead, this sample list is intended to provide ideas upon which you can build your own wedding photography pose list.

As mentioned earlier, this sample wedding photography pose list is not meant to be all inclusive. It is just a starting point from which you can create your own list of posed photographs.
Of course, usually the best wedding shots are the ones that are not posed, so be sure to discuss this with your photographer so that he knows whether or not it is ok to take pictures during the most solemn parts of the ceremony.
If there are any restrictions about the photographer’s movement during the ceremony, be sure that he knows this in advance so there will not be any awkward moments during the actual wedding ceremony.
By planning the photos that you want most ahead of time with your photographer, your wedding album will be even more special and something that you’ll treasure for the rest of your lives.
